Scents of the week Mar 15 – Mar 21

My perfumes for the week:

Sunday: Mon Guerlain
Notes: Carla Lavender, Vanilla Tahitensis, Sambac Jasmine, Album Sandalwood
This was my wedding scent! It’s sweet and pretty and elegant. The longevity isn’t very good, but I don’t mind reapplying.

Monday: Unforgettable by Alexandria Fragrances
Notes:  Amber, Vanille, Vetiver, Dark Chocolate, Sandalwood, Patchouli, Ylang Ylang, Jasmine, Spices, Gardenia, Bergamot, Lotus, Lemon, Orange.
This is their impression of Tom Ford’s Black Orchid. Funnily enough, it doesn’t list orchid in the notes. The black orchid is the flower of Belize, and we saw it when we went to the Belize Spice Farm and Botanical Garden. The flower is surprisingly tiny. I took my sample of the original TF scent with me to Belize and wore it often during our 10 days there. This scent smells similar to the real one, and has better longevity.

Tuesday: Chloe EDP
Chloé EDP
Top Notes: Peony, Lychee, Freesia
Heart Notes: Rose, Magnolia, Muguet
Base Notes: Amber, Cedar
Chloé could easily be my signature scent. It is just so pretty, so fresh, so feminine. I wanted to wear this when I met my grandbaby so he would know what I smell like, lol

Wednesday: Sneaky Clean by Love Potion Magickal Perfumerie
a heart of elegant white lilac and magnolia is blended with a fuzzy soap accord and a sheer base of vanilla musk with a sweet touch of cactus flower honey. Mine is an older bottle with the pheromone Super Sexy for Women, but the current bottles have the pheromone Lumina, which I actually like better.
This is such an easy perfume to wear. I reach for it often when I don’t know what else to put on. It’s clean, it’s pretty. It’s just so good.

Thursday: Éclat d’Arpège by Lanvin
The velvety sweetness of lilac and peach blossoms, with a subtle base of cedar and white musk
My friend Heather sent me a sample of this, and I loved it so much, I had to get a bottle. It’s feminine and elegant, another easy reach when I’m not sure what to wear. And it’s cheap!

Friday: Juicy Couture Gold Couture
Top – wild berries, gardenia, muguet
Middle – vanilla orchid, honeysuckle, jasmin sambac
Base – melted caramel, vanilla cream, praline, sandalwood

I got a travel rollerball of this (super cheap on FragranceNet.com) because I had seen the raving YouTube reviews of it. It’s nice enough, but not OMG. It’s a sweet, slightly floral gourmand. I’ll probably keep it.

Saturday: Boardwalk Marshmallow Clouds by Bath & Body Works
Vanilla, whipped cream, marshmallow, meringue, sandalwood, and white magnolia
This scent was made for me. Every note is one I love! I love this one so much, especially for bedtime.
