Sunday: Parfait de Rôses by Lancôme
Rose Centifolia, heady incense, pink pepper, Liqueur of Rose, ciste labdanum, vanilla absolute and Tolu Balsam
I have a decant of this, and that’s probably enough. It’s pretty and sweet, like a candied rose.
Monday: Oil Perfumery’s impression of Portrait of a Lady
Rose Essence, Blackcurrant, Raspberry, Cinnamon, Clove, Rose Absolute, Patchouli, Sandalwood, Incense, Ambroxan, White Musk Cocktail
This is gorgeous! A dark, sexy rose patchouli. I will always have this in my collection.
Tuesday: Rose Mallow Cream by Solstice Scents
Moroccan Rose absolute, Bulgarian Rose absolute, Marshmallow Fluff, Strawberry Nectar, White Chocolate, Vanilla, White Musk
Soooo pretty! Sweet vanilla rose that dries down to a marshmallow white chocolate scent.
Wednesday: Chloé L’eau EDT
Top: Magnolia
Heart: Jasmine, Rose
Base: Oak moss
I *LOVE* this one so much! It is just so perfect. Light and fresh, pretty and feminine.
Thursday: Dominance by Love Potion Magickal Perfumerie
This dark chocolate rose fragrance contains sweetly sensual amber EO and a touch of Indian red musk swirled within layers of bittersweet and milk chocolate accords, then poured over deep exotic red rose attar and baby pink rose petals, with DOMINANCE POTION pheromone formula, a sexual attraction potion with a clearly alpha-dominant signature.
This is the ultimate Valentine’s Day scent, lol. Roses and chocolate!
Friday: First Kiss Exclusive by Be Layered
Litchi, Turkish Rose, Vanilla, Pear, Agarwood (Oud), Incense, Woody notes, Amber, Bergamot
I bought First Kiss from Be Layered, and they sent a sample of First Kiss Exclusive, which I liked even better! It lasts for hours (all their scents do) and the sillage is great.
Saturday: Wine and Dead Roses by Love Potion Magickal Perfumerie
Cocoa absolute, rose attar and cabernet accord cloaked in dark bloody red musk with a spooky resinous base of oak, sandalwood and myrrh
Perfect scent for this cloudy February day.
I think that’s pretty much all of my rose perfumes, so next week will be back to normal. It’s feeling very much like Spring around here, so I think I’ll migrate my Spring scents out and put the Winter ones in the cabinet.
