Perfume Parade: Oil Perfumery

This is part of a series on perfume companies that I personally have purchased perfumes from – these are not sponsored posts.

I was introduced to Oil Perfumery by the lovely folks at Facebook Fragrance Friends. I made my first order back in December of 2017. They offer perfume oils in 10 ml roller ball bottles. If you aren’t a fan of roller balls, they do have a sister site, Oakcha, which sells beautiful spray bottles. I haven’t purchased any of those yet. I like the roller ball bottles. Oil Perfumery has mostly dupes of other companies, although they have their own perfumes as well. I find that Oil Perfumery dupes are spot-on to the originals. They have great longevity and sillage.

My Oil Perfumery collection

The prices vary, probably depending on the components, but they start around $14.95. I’ve seen some as high as $22.95. They often have sales, and if you write a review, they will send you a coupon code for 10% off. The labels are very minimalistic, which I like. I’ve never had one leak, but I keep mine in a plastic lipstick holder to keep them from falling over. Some people use them for travel, which I haven’t really done yet.

My favorites

Since I have a limited perfume budget, I’ve often bought the Oil Perfumery version of a high-end perfume that I couldn’t afford to try otherwise. If it’s not for me, I give them to friends/family or sell them on Mercari. In the case of Chanel, I have a hard time getting past the whole Coco = Nazi agent thing, so I prefer not to purchase from Chanel. It’s a personal choice.

I’ve gotten a few for my husband, too. He likes to smell good too, although his scent collection isn’t as big as mine, lol.

My husband’s collection – as you can see, Tobacco Vanille is well-loved!

I love the perfumes from Oil Perfumery because they are affordable, they smell great, and they’re easy to use. They’re small and easy to store. The longevity is so good – some of these that I have, I got because I like the originals, but they just don’t last on me.

These are all lighter scents that last all day on my skin

Oil Perfumery has both Western fragrances, and Arabian fragrances. I’d love to try more of the Arabian ones. The only one I have so far is Kalemat, which is an amazing amber scent.

Have you had a chance to try any Oil Perfumery scents? Tell me about it in the comments below:
